Just after Trey was born.

He has been making improvements all day! His respirations per minute went from 67 this morning to 30 this afternoon. His blood sugars have been stable since about 10 AM. We are still waiting to hear when he will begin feedings. Right now he is still on IV fluids through the IV in his skull. Trey's nurse said that he began crying when they took his temperature this afternoon so she knows he is feeling stronger and more alert.
We are waiting for Rhett & Leah now to have a little birthday party for big brother and take them down to meet Trey. So excited!

He is beautiful Erin! He just looks wonderful, and so do you. I hope you get lots of sleep tonight, and much as you want to be home, stay where you have help as long as possible! I am so glad everyone is doing well.
It's hard to tell how little he is what that full head of hair and full face. Can't wait for you to be able to hold him close.

My Goodness! That is SO much to go through! I hope you all are keeping good thoughts and remembering that so many people are pulling and praying for that little guy. Babies are so amazing and such a gift. I hope that the improments continue to come for all of you. The McCormicks are sending you all happy thoughts.
We have been praying and continue to do so. The pictures are great and he is precious. God is great and we are thankful that Trey is doing well. Let me know if Rhett and Leah want to come over for a play date so you guys can get some rest. We would be so happy to have them. -Ayres family
