Tough Love, trial 2

Leah is now 3 months old.  She had been sleeping in the pack-n-play in the living room until the middle of December.  We decided it was time to move her into her crib in the room she shares with Rhett.  So we moved him to the basement for a few nights while she cried it out in the crib.  She cried for an hour and 15 minutes the first night, 15 minutes the second night and 5 minutes the third night.  So we moved Rhett back in and things were going pretty smooth until...  We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas.

So we're back at square one.  Today when I laid her down for her afternoon nap, she was quiet for about 10 minutes before she started crying.  She cried (cry is a nice term) for 2 hours!  Well by then it was time to eat again.  So I fed her and thought she would fall asleep.  Nope!  She stayed awake for another hour before falling asleep after about 2 seconds of rocking.  Ahh!  A quiet house.

Or so we thought.  After sleeping for only 20 minutes, she woke up again!  I moved her to the swing because she needed to sleep and this usually does the trick.  She still fought it for a little while but finally gave up.  Hope she wakes up in time for us to go to our friends for New Year's Eve!  Happy New Year everyone.  Wish us luck on our tough love resolution...

Day 2 nap was much better. 30 minutes of crying, 40 minutes of sleep, moved to the swing for a little more nap.
