The Christening

We had a family picnic out at the "new house" last Thursday night before the kids and I left town for the weekend. Rhett needed to "go" before we left...

Eating a picnic by the shed.
Visiting the steers in the pasture behind the property. We tried to have a lesson about cows vs. steers, but I don't think it sunk in.
Running up and down the south lawn.

The Master

My younger sister, Cory, graduated from K-State last weekend with a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Know anybody who needs a good therapist?

I love it!

Last week I bought a Swivel Sweeper. Maybe you've seen the infomercial... I love it! I used to get so frustrated one meal after sweeping and mopping the floor when it looked just like it did before I swept. So much effort to move all the chairs and rugs. Ugh! But not anymore! Now I pull out my Swivel Sweeper each evening and the mess is gone with such little effort. Ahh, clean floors! Also great on the stairs (since it weighs only 2 pounds) and around the house for a quick clean up before a showing of the house. I got last years model at a reduced price so it does not have the elbow joint, but it is still very easy to get under furniture. It takes so little to get a house-wife excited!

The Best Day

This year for Mother's Day, my sisters and I compiled some stories from our childhood about our best days with Mom. We added some photos, past and present, and the song, "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift. We love you Mom!

I think this picture is from 1979... From left: My Great Grandma "KK", me, my Grandma Colene, and my Mom.
